Splash Cochin Bantams
Our first splash cochins were from Carol Sanders. We started out with a pair and a young pullet. We have more now. We will have young birds and eggs for sale in the Spring. We are breeding Splash to Splash, so we expect all the offspring will be Splash, no Blue or Black. But we are not genetics experts, so anything is possible. So far all the chicks have been Splash, except for one black chick. In the fall of 2010 we purchased a nice SQ pair from The Cochin Coop in Ohio ("Jack" and "Mae"). We now have their son "Joe" and 3 daughters: "Peach", "Pear" and "Orange". We will have started birds for sale in the Spring.

We will be using this SQ blue mottled pair to keep the color Splash from fading. The hen will go in with "Jack" and the darker girls, the Roo will go in with the lighter girls. They came from The Cochin Coop.
