Crested White ducks!
We hatched most of our beautiful Crested White ducks from eggs purchased from Golden Egg Farm in Mass. (Thanks Kate!) Mr. Hat and Mr. Special are from our old flock, and Susie was hatched from our old flock. We are very pleased with the size of their crests and their quality. We showed them in 2008 and 2009. We will offer a few batches of eggs for sale in 2010. We will take orders for ducklings in the Spring. Note: these are not the Giant production Pekins, the males weigh 6 pounds, females weigh 5 pounds. Crested Whites are a separate breed.
